Every Pokémon game has one area full of water that requires Surf to cross, but Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are different, featuring multiple such areas spread all across the region. Luckily, these seaside locations look better than ever in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
The Hoenn region is very unique to the Pokémon franchise, with much of the setting being water-centric.
However, Game Freak and Nintendo did an excellent job with it. Instead they were taking a pair of already well received games and bringing them back more than a decade later, which can be a tough task.
While Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire may not be a massive graphical upgrade when compared to Pokémon X and Y, that wasn’t necessarily the goal. With the modern engine and excellent creative design of Hoenn in place, Game Freak has provided gamers with one of the most incredible looking and well crafted overworlds in the series.
The release of these two last fall finally took the franchise to the next level, with full 3D models across the overworld, characters, and Pokémon themselves. Due to the graphical enhancements of the Game Boy Advance at the time, the original Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire also pushed the series forward with vibrant and colorful location designs. In similar fashion to past remakes in the series, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have taken on the same engine as their current-gen predecessors, Pokémon X and Y. Regardless of whether gamers have played the originals or not, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are shiny new gems in the franchise that return players to the beautiful world of Hoenn. As has been the case for other remakes in the past, these are more than just simple graphical upgrades, instead they are almost entirely new experiences for the player. After debuting the sixth generation last fall, Game Freak and Nintendo decided to make a return to the past with another pair of remakes, based off of Generation III, which originally graced the Game Boy Advance. Should that happen, it will probably not be announced at E3, but the latest incarnation will hopefully show up before the holiday season.Initially releasing on the Game Boy, the Pokemon series became an overnight sensation among gamers of all ages in the late 1990s. Hopefully, this seventh generation of Pokemon, or even Pokemon Z, will have a release date that will happen this year. The Venture Capital Post has confirmed that a mega Flygon will be making an appearance in the seventh generation of the franchise, but there has been no definite release date.
Unfortunately, word is that Flygon's mega evolution might not happen during this update since developers are still working on the Pokemon's mega evolved design. One change that a lot of Pokemon fans are demanding is the mega evolution of Flygon, a Pokemon used by a key character in the game. With the patch, players can use the Wonder Trade option, connection to the Global Trade Station, redemption of Mystery Gifts, use of the Game Sync feature as well as using the Player Search System in order to connect to other fans.
According to Youth Health Mag, Patch 1.4 gives players several online features and aims to bring new challenges for the games. In fact, this has already happened as the patch was available on April 23, 2015. One update that is happening now is a Patch for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Maybe there will be a word or two on The Legend of Zelda and Starfox updates as well. Chances are, Nintendo will probably focus on the Wii U and 3DS as well as upgrades for their current cash cows like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Brothers. In fact, there has never been an E3 where a new Pokemon game was announced. Nintendo does not have a good track record of announcing anything Pokemon related at E3. To that, iDigitalTimes says is a big fat "no". Considering that E3 2015 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which takes place annually every summer in LA) is almost here, it is possible that Nintendo could announce a release date of Pokemon Z at the big event. Pokemon Z isn't really the official title of the expected new release of the game, but it is a long awaited sequel to Pokemon X and Y, and it is just easier to call it that. Many are awaiting the Pokemon Z release date, as well as some mega evolution to Flygon. A recent new Patch update to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, known as Patch 1.4, has attempted to give Pokemon fans what they have asked for with the sixth generation of the Pokemon series, but they still want more. Ever since Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were released last year, demands for new patches for improvements have kept pouring in.
